All videos from 2002 to current time are in WMV format and require Windows Media Player to view.  We try to use 16:9 aspect ratio when possible and standard definition.  However, we do have an HD camcorder and hope to produce HD videos in the future.

We have limited video from 2005 and 2006, however none of it is that great.  We may post a few files just for giggles.  However, as you may note we only chased twice in 2006 so far and there isn't awesome video.

2004 -

  • 2004 Chase Season Review - Clip 1 (8MB).
  • 05-29-2004 - Video of an anti-cyclonic tornado just east of Calumet, Oklahoma, we are looking north.  Clip 1 (14MB).  Another tornado just east of our previous location.  Clip 2 (5MB).  Hail/RFD just west of Custer City.  Clip 3 (4MB).
  • 05-24-2004 - Video of a tornado over Alfalfa, Oklahoma.  Clip 1 (5MB).  Wall Cloud near Eakly, Oklahoma. Clip 2 (7MB).

2003 -

  • 09-23-2003 - From March 12, 2003, slow motion lightning strikes.  For a real-time play back look at the March 12, 2003 clip below.  Clip 1.
  • 09-23-2003 - Ever wonder what a is meant by a rotating updraft?  On March 17, 2003, we captured a developing storm near Minco, Oklahoma.  Rob videoed the updraft of this storm for 2.5 minutes.  To see the rotation, the video is sped up at the rate of 5 to 1, so 2.5 minutes of storm video is 30 seconds on this clip.  Clip 1.
  • 05-15-2003 - Texas Panhandle, along I-40 just west of Shamrock.  Clip 1.
  • 05-09-2003 - Storm chase, traveling north out of Altus.  Clip 1.  Just west of Binger on HWY 152.  Clip 2.
  • 05-08-2003 - Storm chase, North of Tinker AFB and north side of the storm.  Clip 1.  Exiting I-40 and turning north on Anderson Road, funnel from OKC tornado.  Clip 2.  Driving northeast on I-44 near Chandler.  Clip 3.
  • 04-19-2003 - Storm chase, we are southwest of Slick, Oklahoma, on Highway 46, looking at a tornado.  Clip 1.  In Dewey, Oklahoma we are looking at a funnel to our north on Highway 75.  Clip 2.  Three miles north of Dewey, turning off of Highway 75, the damage path.  Clip 3.  About 6-7 miles east-northeast of Dewey looking to our northwest is the dissipating tornado.  Clip 4.  All video is 16:9 aspect ratio and is 4-8 MB.
  • 04-05-2003 - Storm chase, we are south bound on Highway 277 out of Haskell, Texas. Clip 1.  We are driving into and through Haskell, Texas, notice the hail fog.  Clip 2.  Southeast of Murry, Texas, getting hailed upon.  Notice the large hail being carried at the end of this video.  Clip 3.  HookEcho Enterprises is proud to announce video in 16:9 aspect ratio.  The only storm chasing site to provide such online.
  • 03-17-2003 - Storm chase, we are looking at a wall cloud about 5 miles east of Hinton, Oklahoma, near Highway 37.  We are traveling north during the video.  Clip 1.
  • 03-12-2003 - Storm spotting in Oklahoma City, driving south of Highway 77 (Broadway Extension).  This is mainly a lightning show.  Clip 1.

2002 -

  • 06-15-2002 - Storms moving into Oklahoma City.  We are facing north from Bricktown (located just east of downtown Oklahoma City).  The video is of lightning and the music is from the Blues Festival that was ongoing at the time.  Clip 1 and Clip 2
  • 06-12-2002 - Storm chase to northwest Oklahoma.  Video is captured about 8 miles west of Alva looking to the northeast at a wall cloud and partial funnel.  Clip 1, The remaining clips are of lightning and at various points south of Alva:  Clip2, Clips 3, and Clip 4.
  • 05-24-2002 - Storm chase to northeast Texas.  Video is captured northwest of Vernon looking south-southwest at a tornado.  Clip 1.

05-03-1999 - Our best chase of the year and so far our career. These clips are from near Cogar, Oklahoma. Clip 1 (ENE of Cogar) and Clip 2 (NW of Cogar)
